JCAPCPL crosses 2 mt sales of cold rolled steel to passenger vehicle manufacturers

Jamshedpur, May 19: JCAPCPL (Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing and Processing Company Pvt. Ltd.) crossed a milestone of 2.0 million tonnes of cold rolled steel sales to passenger vehicle manufacturers on May 18, 2023. Ujjal Chakraborti, Managing Director, JCAPCPL congratulated and thanked all the employees for this achievement.

Founded in 2012 the company celebrated 10 years in August 2022. The company has earlier crossed its 1.0 million Tonne sales in November 2020. The Joint Venture company was set up in Jamshedpur by Tata Steel and Nippon Steel with intention to serve only this segment in India.

The company supplies world class quality cold rolled steel to all major manufacturers of passenger vehicle in India such as Maruti, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Honda, Toyota, VW, Kia Motors, Renault, and Nissan. This segment is one of the most demanding segments in terms of quality and delivery of steel. The high-end steel produced in JCAPCPL is used in inner and outer panels of cars.
